Berrymax maintains the largest Organic Blueberry Orchard in Argentina. The Organizacion Internacional Agropecuaria has certified that Berrymax’s 57 hectares/140 acres in these agriculturally-rich orchards are certified organic, NOP compliant, IFOAM and JAS. The climate is ideal for both early and late blueberry varieties, producing healthy-sized crops recognized for their exceptional sweetness and acid ration.

Blueberries are known for having exceptionally high antioxidant properties. Decades of research have demonstrated the potential benefits of blueberries related to brain and nervous system health. In studies among subjects 76 years of age, it was suggested that daily blueberry consumption may have a positive impact on improving memory. Blueberries are also low in glycemic index.

The benefits of blueberry consumption are enhanced when organic blueberries are consumed. In a study that compared organically grown blueberries with non-organically grown highbush blueberries, it was shown that organically grown blueberries have higher concentrations of antioxidants.
